Remember reading some post(s) claiming more pain is coming up next in March .
Rumor? Or it is only the beginning of March and too soon to tell?

Approximaltely 1500+ TU employees impacted today. Chris mentioned another small wave. Neustar 0 employees impact.
Is it only VP and above would know ahead of time ?
Else, how are they coordinating and planning to either assure people to carry on lol
Yes, it is not going to be uniform email especially if your management isn't very aware of who is getting laid of to begin with. Unfortunately, one has to accept that you either are or are not getting that email. Instead don't even bother actually doing any work (why would you for this company??) and just chill and maybe grab some comfort food.
It’s chaotic when people may get emails at different time and no formal alignment on what time that would be.
I think other companies do it in one go and would announce it the exact time to reduce anxiety .
Neustar technology is valued by legacy TransUnion executives. They are now looking to integrate TransUnion services into Neustar technology and do as much work off-shore as possible.
Has anyone received the calendar invites yet as mentioned by Cartwright?
I’m officially a believer of this forum and whoever suggested major news are incoming today.
Just wish there can be more insights … I still don’t know who were impacted last round and the company never releases any data breakdowns and whatsoever .
Transparency is long gone … and culture has definitely changed . It was all about employee surveys and this and that awhile ago.
There were people in the last round of layoffs who didn't find out until after 5 or 6 pm CST
Last round I knew people got laid off around 4 pm central time, and maybe within 3-4 hours after that.
Curious as to why people say Neustar acquisition was the reason why .
From the context, it seems more like a outsourcing and cost reduction approach that are common.
If anything , I’m surprised they didn’t say it’s due to AI or overhiring
Worst decision TU ever made acquiring Neustar. TU won’t be surviving any more.
How to focus with sword hanging on our neck
Says notifications will be out this afternoon (what timezone? What time can you assume you’re not on the list?)
Doesn’t really say how many will be impacted and seems really vague in my opinion…
I do not know if managers know the impacts to anywhere but their immediate teams.
Anyone knows which part of the company will this wave of layoff be impacting the most?
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnddddd it's here!! Another layoffs round. All the best guys!
Balancing domestic employment with global economic dynamics is essential for the US economy's health and sustainability. I believe it's time to secure jobs for American people rather outsourcing it to foreign countries. It's now Time for for the change otherwise it won't be good for anyone...!
Not sure if it's really coming. No announcement so far.
Are we still getting any news today (Tuesday, Mar 19th)from the ceo as claimed?
Seems quiet. Or is the is a “silent reduction” and not company wide announcement ?
News seems to be genuine. Some announcement coming Tuesday from CEO. Only bad news. Lot of cuts from GT. Company moving towards outsourced managed services.
Please expect news shortly.
This is not really news if you have paid attention to what Transunion has publicly stated, but it will be a tough day for everyone, especially those directly impacted.
The person who posted with seemingly absolute certainty about something to get dropped this week... how reliable is your source and what can you share with us (% of impacted, what teams/functions , how many more to come, etc)?
The time is near
A sad day upcoming for many associates
Please be respectful to those directly impacted when this news begins to get out later this week.
I really don't know....seems like it would create so much chaos if something were to be announced this week or before the end of March?
Hope the previous posts were just rumors, but only time can tell
Can someone post the announcement?
"wellness day followed by major news immediately after? ".
yeah, right. That would just put us out of our misery. What's the fun in that?
Unless the timing needs to work out along with some official announcement to the public (current or potential shareholders), why not drag it out into some evening late in the week so that people have to keep checking their email (like last time)?
And other than out of spite, why would anyone who does know what's going on risk getting caught blabbing about it to the unwashed masses?
We evidently deserve this if we've been too stupid not to have left yet.
Any insights who might get affected this time? Like which roles/department?
Oh wow.. wellness day followed by major news immediately after?
Next week there will be significant news related to this topic and is in line with the comments by TransUnion.
For what it's worth, this is what Chris Cartwright told investors in February: "We grew our GCCs from 400 employees in 2019 to over 4,000 in 2023 and expect to transition over 1,000 additional roles over the next two years."
How are they going to calm people if they announce another round within 1-2 week..
Technically , Chris’s email suggested positive performance and outlook, which may very well be to calm investors I guess. However, it would show employees a different narrative
Next week...
Again, who or what kind of teams might be affected ? Would appreciate if anyone has any information.
These are not rumors. More to come very soon now.
Any update or news on this? A few days left until those posts about rumors expire …
I don't doubt that there are more coming this year considering the state of the company but I think it's possible that these "rumors" were intentionally spread to wiggle out more voluntary attrition.
I could look like a conspiratorial id--t in a couple of weeks, but it's just a thought.
Notifications in the sense will there be another All Hands Meeting and then associates will be notified?
Wait…I believe Chris’s email mentioned everyone of the 10% impacted back then were already notified.
Some may have different separation dates, but his email clearly said that the reduction notification had been completed for the time being.
Curious as to why people still say and think that round of layoffs is still in the play months later.
to the people commenting that it’s truly happening- how do you know? otherwise this feels like pointless fearmongering
Prior announcement noted a10% reduction in force AND expanded use of low cost centers. Notifications to date have not been 10%. There will be more notifications before the end of the month.
