Thread regarding Optum layoffs

Ransomware Cost - just Prescription for an example

Just from Prescription Management:
US prescription business is over ~$700B B with Billion.
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/37094296/

UHG share is around Rx was $116B in 2023; whopping 16%
https://www.formularywatch.com/view/optum-rx-revenue-grew-16-in-2023#:~:text=In%202023%2C%20the%20pharmacy%20benefit,clients%2C%20and%20advancements%20in%20services.

That’s almost US$ 4 Billion lost opportunities already. And 1000x of lawsuits that will come once dust settles that is - if it does.

Keep laying Off mutter-feckers.
Shortcuts never pays, things always catches up eventually.

Thank you and back to The Show.

Write your senators and congress. Right now. Get off this site and go do it right now. I’ve been writing Fetterman weekly for the past year. I’m now writing him daily. Time for all of them to explain the lobbying and the BS and all of the reasons we don’t have a public option at the very least. Obama negotiated the ACA and it came right out of his mouth on video that the biggest reason we can’t have nice things is because of all the jobs that would be lost in the health insurance industry. NOT HEALTHCARE. The insurance industry. Sc--w that. Lots of health insurance employees would find loads of jobs. The work still has to be done. If they are continuing to constantly outsource, help me understand how this helps save insurance jobs in the U.S.? Do the math.

Those of us working on the trenches will be the ones who are hit with this while the executives continue to take in their millions every year.

It’ll blow over because all of healthcare is pretty much the same. There will be a lot of noise, some actions taken with loopholes and then back to business enforcing the healthcare status quo which makes people in charge a lot of money.

It's only just begun. Every single agency of the US Government will be looking into this UHG disaster, DOJ, HHS, FTC, DEA, as well as the AHA, and other interested parties. There will me massive lawsuits, including class action law suits. UHG can't hide from this. They will be taken down this time. It's their own fault for gutting Change Healthcare. People will not stay silent. Customers will continue to bail. Providers will continue to move away from this unethical organization. They ain't seen nothin' yet.

Karma... its payback time!
