We were a supplier for years. I knew something was off when I stopped getting emails. Our contact just stopped cold not communicating. It was full on ghosting. Then when the manager sat down with us after we insisted on a discussion followup etc to our discussion. She couldn’t even look at us in the eye. And we had to drag it out of her. I find the whole thing strange. I read on here that people were let go over their vacations. I wouldn’t be surprised. The culture at this company was they say they care about people and diversity but they don’t act with m integrity or humility.

Were you a contingent worker or a vendor? With contingents, when it’s time for them to be let go, SCM generally doesn’t want the Enbridge manager involved. You’re supposed to just let the worker’s supplier know, and let them do the dirty work of telling the worker.
Enbridge has questionable business practices. That’s your answer.
I can think of a dozen reasonably decent reasons why any company might stop using a supplier. Unless they broke a contract, there's nothing particularly unusual about it. Why, exactly, do you say they are not acting with integrity or humility?
