Thread regarding Citigroup Inc. / Citibank / Citi layoffs

Citi filed layoff notice on WARN site - so laid off employees won’t get 90/60 days notice?

Looks like Citi filed a notice of layoff on WARN website. Does it mean those who get laid off in March won’t get 90/60 day notice?

It was just a notice to NYC Dept of Labor. If you get laid off, you still get the 60 or 90 day non working notice, that’s a state law.

MDDs got their notices back in Jan. Like first week. 50 days and some on garden leave and still getting paid

WARN notices don’t name names. That’s not the requirement. Just how many at what sites ( or closure of a site)

@okk+1rlzO8H3 The posting is a notice for DOL purpose but not individual employees, right? How do we know which one of us that notice is applicable to? Unless if manager/HR gives the notice to the impacted individuals at the same time they post it on Warn website - that would be fair.

The posting is the notice. Depending on timing of the notice and the timing of the layoff, they wouldn’t need to get the 90 day warn payout.

Also I only saw a notice for NYC.

They will get layoff notice. Difference is they may or may not be on a non-working notice.
