Thread regarding Boeing Co. layoffs

737 Max Boycott

Can't really fault them given the obvious Boeing and FAA corruption.

Unlike Boeing, Airbus is increasing their rates to create slots for ex-Boeing airlines (or airlines who want to be rid Boeing). COMAC is making in roads into selling airplanes to other SE Asia countries besides China and is also seeking EASA certification. Boeing's days appear to be numbered.

Companies are using the production delays as an excuse not to buy the 737. they don’t want to come out in public and state their lack of confidence in Boeing but that’s the issue.

Lots of people are avoiding Boeing airplanes. Wonder if few remaining airlines forced to buy Boeing airplanes will do so for much longer?

Alaska and United have said they are looking to get Airbus airplanes but Airbus's huge backlog is currently hampering this from happening. But Airbus is increasing their production rate and Boeing was forced to decrease their production rate, so this may soon enable this to happen and also result in canceled orders and further reduced Boeing backlog.
