Never a good idea for those not aware of the value of DDAT (digital data and technology) to make staffing decisions on appropriate levels for that team.
Especially when the stated focus is greater efficiency from this organization.

Management told the Omnicare census/billing teams back on February 1st that layoffs were coming in March to most likely be effective in April - promising a 30-day notice to employees. This was due to all of the overseas outsourcing they did for these jobs at the end of last year. Those workers are expected to be up to par and ready to take over the census teams work. Those are the only departments that I am aware of. Good luck everybody.

Our department was told notices would come around mid-March, with exit dates early April. Since they like to wrap up on two-week pay periods, I'm guessing many of us will get the boot for March 29 or April 12.

Only a guess, but I would think it will be the 14th & 15th. That coincides with a pay date and makes the severance schedules line up.
