Thread regarding Optum layoffs

The aggressor now the victim?

This org has been aggressively knocking of other competitions (approved by the government agencies). Now the “aggressor” just might get bailed out by the government agencies.

The magnitude of this attack is not limited to what being released to the press. I personally could not schedule an appointment with a new doctor due to their system been down and unable to verify insurance eligibility. Imagine how many physician network and PTs are at risk?

The question is not who did the diligence for any of the M&A? Who is the top chief? Stop the blame storm and have those in charge be held accountable.

Fantasy of redirect traffic? If the data was compromised, think about the ramifications of this approach. This is not a case of moving people off a broken bus to another bus.

The network infrastructure was never under going diligence before/after acquisition of Change. If redirect of traffic is the ultimate solution, the massive persistent downtime would not continuing to this day?! There is a place for PR damage control, this is not the forum which being watched by high caliber techies..

I cant stop laughing. Politicians could not care a wit since duh they are in on the game. United/Optum too big to fail too may of them lining pockets as well. Just think how sc--wed change would be if still a stand alone company ALL systems down. At least now they can divert all the traffic to existing Optum infrastructure

The Aggressor has tried to finish the competition and manipulated market by its own strategy and greedy tactics of layoffs. By acquiring multiple companies they tried to capture more market share but they miss out the basic security. It is a bigger hit. Optum has hostile the competition. It will be a chaotic end.

Same. Be active. Tell your local government representative. I already did.
