western union leadership, specifically the cto in 2024 is extremely embarassing.
also im gonna hard call them out because someone needs to say it. they keep outsourcing to india, and those guy SU-K at writing code. messy spaghetti code NO DOCUMENTATION AT ALL. then when my team was supposed to take over a project from india, they were being very difficult and trying to make it hard for us to pick up the service. probably they are worried we will take thier job. this causes the software situation there to be absolutely the worst thing ive ever seen. im glad i quit when i did lol
There is a lot of useless people spread across WU not just Austin office. The company is dying a slow death, best to get out while you can. I escaped in March after 15 years there, I can tell you it use to be a good company but new CEO hates the employees.
I think they are in the death spiral of constant layoffs now, only hope is the stock goes low enough a real company buys them out and fixes it.
Lot of cr-p sitting in Austin office, especially Engineering leader SS. big trash to the company. Hopefully sack such useless leaders so that company can find right leader to shed some light about their growth!
