Thread regarding Chesapeake Energy Corp. layoffs

What a joke

The Chesapeake name has been a joke for sooo long. Continuous layoffs, encouraging their own employees to purchase their stock knowing they were going to file bankruptcy, unethical practices of putting people in roles simply because of their gender and then overlooking other unethical conversations involving race. I think I am properly medicated enough to start spilling the tea to a local news source. Anonymously of course.

If you don't like working here... Don't let the door hit you on the a-s as you walk out.... No one is forcing you to work here....

When we finally offload the campus, will the bricks that randomly fall from these dilapidated buildings be used as keepsakes? Or can we keep some of the molded carpet from the basements as mementos? There is nothing like a fresh breath of mold spores in the morning going into the basement.

Haha. What do you expect though seriously? The board promoted the very person who was responsible for the financial disaster of the company to become the CEO. They knew no one else would take this dumpster fire. The management teams over at Devon use the term of pulling a Chesapeake when they refer to id--tic decisions. Ole Dominique came out of the gate with the narrative of how the analyst had seriously undervalued the company and how great we were doing. What a joke.
