Everi of is run by a bunch of whiny, touchy-feely millennials who dont know jack sh-t about real gambling (no... it's not like Pokemon Go). They need to be ousted and let IGT be the 800lb gorilla of Vegas and gaming once again.
I agree. everi being a tiny company with small market cap couldve easily been bought out by a healthy IGT. seems like lottery wants to get rid of gaming after destroying the gaming unit.
How’s the Las Vegas camps coming along? Any layoffs or firings? I’m not sure if merging with Every was a good idea for the company. Seemed like IGT sold themselves out. Thoughts?

Wow, this is huge news! I'm surprised how it was announced and then things just went back to business as usual.
looks like Everi is a mess. Stock down almost 50% in 1 year.
this trend will continue, if you are under 50 in this industry - get out while you can. the number of people working in traditional gambling roles is going to be massively smaller before you know it.
Just what this industry needs, more consolidation. Less places to go to if you're not happy. What happens to the Everi offices in Sydney, Australia? What happens to the people at IGT in Australia?

when are the layoffs going to hit? too much redundancy. particularly w/reno lifer deadweight tools, they need to go.
