Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

They are quietly firing remote workers

After 10+ years of caring about my job, terrific reviews, awards and hoping to grow my career further it is freeing to finally not give a flying s@$%. Remote and no office to go to within several hundred miles. So not "unwilling" to become hybrid try "impossible". My managers are acting like this is no big deal. They are quietly firing remote workers. No longer respect them or this company. If they treat loyal employees like this what does that say about their brand and loyalty to customers? Shame. Looking for something better and well...the bar has been set pretty low with this f'd up policy.

I feel the same. And it is a senseless policy. Read here: @1jbw+1rhMWEaN

Caring about work is a two way street. They don’t care about me or my future at the company so I no longer care about the work either. Proud to be quiet quitting. No one on my team gives a sh-t about our jobs any more. Thanks for the motivation, Mikey!
