Remember how many people were so happy to leave their jobs for something "better?" How many of them do you think are now regretting that decision? I know people who left Dell who would give anything in return. I know this is not the best place to work, but with a complete lack of job security these days, being somewhere for a while instead of being the new addition at least means something.

Left Dell for greener pastures and I’m getting paid significantly more money to do significantly less work. 100% remote with no RTO, unlimited PTO, and a ton of perks. Meanwhile at Dell I was making less and less each year because of vanishing bonuses, no raises, and even that joke of a year where 401k matches were frozen despite record profits. My only regret was not leaving sooner because the stress was making me lose hair.
I was part of the 6650 who were fired last year. It took me a few months to find a new job, but I make more money now, and have less stress, and I'm not looking over my shoulder wondering when the axe is going to fall. I would advise anyone still there to be out looking - even if you're not going to be in the next round, you will find that there are better opportunities out there. Give yourself the option of choosing where to go - don't leave it up to Jeff.
This is a garbage post
Nice try, Jeff Clark
Stockholm syndrome, look it up and get help.
Hahahaha! I took another job a year and a half ago. New job has lower stress, no one looking over my should and lower pay. Best decision, no regrets.
Next-level trolling. Good job.
I literally broke my leg running to the comments after I saw this post. Old Steve from HR at it again defending a toxic dumpster Fire. I mean, no one, literally not one single person breathing on this Earth regrets leaving Dell. Everyone who has left one their own or forced to leave is in a better spot mentally and financially.
What you have just said is one of the most insanely id--tic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that be could considered a rational thought. Everyone in this chat is now d-mber for having read it.
What job security? We don’t have job security either. They’ll tell you you’re done and cut your insurance the same day at 1159pm. No loyalty.
Must be sad sitting around at Dell fantasizing about others wishing they came back when in reality they are much happier elsewhere.
Enjoy RTO and the perpetual but kissing and fake dell culture. You were made to be at dell
Things that never happened for 500 ,alex.
None regrets leaving dell.
a few problems with your statements:
- literally no job security at dell in good or bad times
- if you are somewhat competent you could probably land better pay if not company altogether
- dell is on a constant downward spiral with no end in sight till the lights go out
What sort of gobshite posts this cr-p?
This post is the equivalent of defending an abusive parter because you’re afraid of being single.
