In EGD. Non union cuts are done (save for maybe a few stragglers) . Union and company close to an arrangement that will hopefully see the senior employees that want but outs get them. A lot of people (myself included) were assigned new roles today that they will be moving into mid march.

To the of course it’s over FOR NOW.

Of course it’s over FOR NOW. For anyone new to Enbridge and doesn’t really know the history of how Enbridge handle their people, please ask around and read this: They had been doing layoffs since 2015 and it’s a routine to layoff every now and then.
2015: 500
2017: 1,000
2020: 800
2024: 650
It doesn’t include the 30 here, 80 there, 5 in one team and so on and so on and so forth.
If you are amenable to this it’s ok and you just have to accept that you will be on a roulette about to get hit with layoff every now and then.
I don’t know about you but I like change by moving within the team or within the company for a change or promotion and not a change coz I got laid off. If you’re still young, milk it and save as much as you can and try something more else in a more stable environment.
It's over for now. Just the people left that don't know where and what they're going to be doing in this new, efficient paradise of a corporation until the execs sc--w it up and they lay more people off.
I am a frontline worker at TOC. I haven't heard anything yet today.
Overcast
What front line workers?
Work Management apparently is done but there’s going shuffling of positions, today And tomorrow is directed more at front line workers as far as the rumour mill says
I know there'll be more layoffs, but is at least the majority done?
