Textbook example of how to ruin a good company

Fiserv is a textbook example of what happens with a company when you completely abandon the principle of meritocracy and instead focus on promoting people based on who they know and whose behind they're kissing at that moment. What you get is an incompetent top and middle management that makes one horrible decision after another, which leads to a failing company.

Nothing new here:

This model (take over, gaslight, and squeeze ‘til dry), don’t forget, is an incredibly lucrative one for the squeezers, who are making out like bandits.

So it’s fair to say that they have been succeeding in realizng their plan and will continue to do so until the host is entirely su-ked dry.

Not a good model for a real company but a great one if your sole focus is maximum immediate-term profits at any cost, the future be dam*ed.

FB and his goons have drained the life out of this once proud company. There have always been some questionable things and decisions done even back in the day. But with FB it’s worse than ever and constant. Everything is taken from the employees and so little given back. Knowledge being drained and fired, work life balance out the door, always the push to do more for less. FB is obviously out of ideas on how to grow the company so only option is to take it from the employees and remind them he is king and you should be honored to work under his boot.
