Does anybody have an idea when the labor agreement ends between IBM and Kyndryl? I thought Kyndryl made a deal with IBM not to mass layoff it's workforce for at least two years. So if this is the case when does the agreement end. So I can start looking for new pastures.

Kyndryl's business is very much client-driven, so job security for most employees will really depend on the strength of Kyndryl's client relationships. If you are performing tasks that are specific to a customer contract, then your job might be secure provided that the customer is happy and willing to continue paying Kyndryl for service. If customer sat is poor on the other hand, and/or the contracts are not otherwise performing, then all bets are off. There's no big mystery to all of this...if the customers are paying money to Kyndryl, then Kyndryl will pay money to the employees.
The problem occurs when the customers stop paying money.
Whistling in the graveyard !!!!!!!
Simply question, should I be worried. Also is there any consensus. That Kyndryl will even act on the ending of the layoff moratorium. I like what I do here at Kyndryl. I am no hurry to run for the door but because of my age. I can not afford to be left out in the cold. I know it is better to have value in a current position, in order acquire new employment.
Honey, if you are still employed by Kyndryl and aren't looking at other opportunities, you cray cray!
Kyndryl's 2 year anniversary was in November 2023.
As reminder, IBM completed the separation of its managed infrastructure services to Kyndryl in November 2021.
Kyndryl then began trading as an independent company on the New York Stock Exchange in November 2021.
Given the circumstances, it is indeed better for you to monkey-branch to another opportunity while you still can, rather than waiting until you fall to the ground. Climbing another tree in the current economy is no fun, and nobody will blame you one bit for trying to get away from Kyndryl. Like many observers on this forum, there are many outsiders in the IT community (both potential clients as well as competitors) who believe Kyndryl to be a sinking ship.
Thank you for the advice. I have been reluctant, but in light of the current uncertainty of Kyndryls business model. I will start my job search sooner than later. It's better to have a job in order to get a job. I will have some leverage when discussing benefits with my new potential employer.
In the current environment, available jobs of any kind are scarce. You should start looking for new pastures right now.
