With everything going on, this seems like a really insignificant thing to get twisted up about if I’m being honest. Maybe the timing wasn’t perfect but I don’t think it warrants a 5 paragraph essay about insensitivity.

Not sure how much AH knew regarding a segment he’s not in charge of - but most of the people in that slack had no idea this was happening until after 2 est. It was a degree only slack channel and it took a while for the rumors to spread across segments and ultimately be confirmed. The last “emoji” comment was at noon est.
