I was also let go on this round. Funny that several of us let go out performed the seniors in our positions for the past several months but they kept on the underperforming overpaid people due to tenure instead. Good riddance to this sinking ship

The problem with natural attrition is that the most talented people are the ones who leave. The fact that they are letting go of newer people has everything to do with a tenure based severance and nothing to do with them valuing loyalty. No one is safe and it will only get worse as they run out of plays.
It’s ridiculous how our leaders making these layoff decisions seemingly BRAG about not backfilling positions when people resign…in the message to alt cred today:
“Despite our efforts to adjust our staff size through natural attrition and by reallocating team members to growing areas within the Degree and Exec Ed teams, further action was necessary to align our capacity with the expected interest level from our learners.”
Share price 46 cents (up 16%). But the Annual Report (10K) still has not been posted. March 1 is the latest 2U has ever reported for a 10K is March 1.
The 3 newest cyber managers were laid off as well a bunch of bootcamp admissions advisors. And some of the Apply Now managers, too. I know of at least 2 advisors, one in UXUI and the other in Cyber. 2U won’t survive much longer

So every person gets that severance option?
Yup. On bootcamps and so far 6 of my coworkers and my manager are out. Weird they haven’t made a company wide email about this seems like no one outside of bootcamps had any idea it was happening.
What was your role? And is that what they are offering everyone as severance?
I got laid off today. Two weeks of pay for every year worked and three weeks of pay. Not much but I guess better than nothing
