Unrelated to CH, but a group of remote employees has been asked to be in office for some corporate security meeting. What does this mean?

Did the corporate security meetings take place?
FYI Optum layoffs stated 3 weeks ago. Also, they won't bring remote workers in to inform of a layoff regardless if its for a group or one person.
Maybe to get their last paycheck.
Curious what day were they asked to go in office? Optum layoffs will happen starting next week into the second full week of March.
Maybe they need extra hands on deck for outage
