For those that got laid off, how was the package?
Did they include an additional 16 weeks pay due to being federally regulated?

We need some people seconded to US from Canada to be brought back . Too much cost for the company. Also, too many managers at all levels. Poorly managed.

Are layoffs still happening?
During the 2021 layoffs, the severance packages ranged from 3-6 months pay with medical coverage over that span. Also included 3rd party resume building/LinkedIn services
Glad to be out. This company lost its way a long time ago and it’s going to take a few years to get back on track.
What is the norm for package these days, 2-4 weeks per year of service?
The package was fair…. I was retiring end of the year and the package covered that plus more…. Glad to be out of the insanity…. Been restructuring and transitioning for what seems like forever… glad to be out of that toxic sweatshop lol

My package was fine. No complaints. They do statutory pay plus a bunch of other stuff. Happy to be free.
