My store was just told an hour ago.
So maybe calm down and let people process the info first. Eager to want the list when it's not your store right?
management said the list will be public soon.
Stores are finding out at their morning rallies as we speak.
There is a list, if a store had a morning rally today and discussed in depth the announcement, your on a list of stores that are being evaluated. Mind you, the stores are being looked at are being checked on profit and real estate value. So larger size stores are at risk ( due to real estate) and a store's location. As well as free standing Backstage doors and fullfillment locations. It is confirmed that when stores do find out, they will close in the beginning of 2025. Good luck everyone.
Hopefully all of them and then convert them into delivery hubs with very small show rooms for people who actually want to shop in person. Why keep a store open when a quarter of your products are stolen. Anytime I’ve gone to Macys I can never find my size because it was clearly stolen so I end up ordering online. The liability these store bring is cringe for us shareholders.
