His decisions have significantly compromised company security and operational effectiveness. His '100x strategy' dramatically increased vulnerabilities, while his cost-cutting measures have severely impacted EIS functionality.
Optum has brought in poor leadership in IT security after the CISO left. Then there was Cardwell, now this CISO from change. The department laid off security people but still keeps other departments that create security incidents! Time to jump ship!
Not to be too braggy or snobby. But a few of the UHG board members are members at golf club I'm in. They are pretty classic Boomer conservatives profits are really all they care about. I haven't talked with them since late last summer. But they aren't huge fans of being bullied by DEI initiatives to get good loan rates from private equity firms (Blackrock). Candyman and DEI queen PL are not employed based on merit they have connections to those private equity loans. So they leverage that into C suite positions. If interest rates go down the craziness ends. Simple as that.
Have the oh so wise brought out their allstar team to ask the hackers their pronouns and offer them a diversity training? Oh wait, that bloated useless departmemt doesn't actually do anything. Good thing we kept all of them around instead of....oh yeah, the IT SECURITY TEAM!!!
