Thread regarding Citigroup Inc. / Citibank / Citi layoffs

Tell me who!

There seems to be a long list of threads that purport to know that layoffs are happening or are about to happen. We should know who, specifically, has gone. So write the names of c15 and above in this thread to prove that actually there is a round of layoffs happening.

Have respect for those who have been let go - please never put a name or specific role on here, this coming from an impacted employee. I’d be mortified to see my name on a site like this.

My MD has been telling us restructuring was coming end of February beginning of March. For some reason I thought it was common knowledge

Actually, you all are mistaken: I work in the Risk division, which half of you will probably not believe but I really don’t care, and I would love to know who has been eliminated.

When it's your turn, do you want your name dropped on a layoff site?

There are over 220k employees at Citi. Why would we be guessing by initials. Just stop.

This is a fake, sarcastic thread started by Citi "managers", HR or the Legal Dept.. Even if posters posted names, 80%+ of the time the Site moderators will delete the posts within 24 to 72 hours. Only C-Suite names can be posted because they're the face of and represent the company.

This isn’t entertainment. Unless a layoff is publicly announced to the press, you don’t name names.

Nice try, HR Op. Are you really this stupid?

OP seems like legal or HR, why would you want to know who specifically

No one is going to write a list of names. The layoffs are happening globally so the fact they are not happening in your location doesn’t mean they are not happening. With that said, in FL things have been quiet this month. In Jan there were layoffs in retail and Wealth Management but I don’t know of anyone in my region who has been let go in Feb. Nevertheless, there have been strong hints that towards the end of March, a new wave will come.
