TU Tracking IP

Saw someone posted about TU tracking IP's.

Hasn't that always be assumed with all the authentications and general protocols?

For instance, devices are tracked no matter where you are (in office or remote).

Also, how strictly is it tracking? Does your IP have to always be your home office network?
What if you have your laptop when traveling?

Yep, cause there is nothing better to be doing than playing big brother to a bunch of ticked employees that are looking for other jobs to support their families.

I would say get a life, but I also know that people have their backs against the wall to do the job or be let go faster.

Yes, we track IP's and monitor user location relative to their designated workday location and alert when there's 30 consecutive days of mismatches.
