Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

Do Rotationers get also get the cut?

Just curious if anyone has hears or knows if employees in rotational programs are also added to the usual rounds of layoffs. Any thoughts?

I was in FDP (Finance Development Program) and was let go, along with some others in the program, during this round of layoffs. It wasn't performance-based, no warning, just straight-up laid off lol. pain

"early career jobs hurts the future"

Sorry, i spat out my coffee as I read that.
Dell management does not looks past 6 months on a good day. They will cut and cut and cut. They would exploit any way to save money

Yes people in special "development" programs like rotational ones can and have been cut many times over the years. Have seen them cut in Marketing, Finance and Services most recently. No one is safe even if you have been declared "top talent" LOL. Dell simply does not care.

Yes but it’s usually to get rid of bad apples. Cutting early career jobs hurts the future and are more insulated.
