So why is this dragging on so long? Other parts of the world have done hard split, why are they taking so long to separate? Everyone is still doing everything , working on both sides in Services.

No hard split because they can't figure out how to actually do it. They have run into several problems with hard splitting logistically that it is going to take years before that happens across the board. The lines of business are too Intertwined when it comes to logistics/parts process as well as with HR and even training. It's a hot mess.
Voyix really cannot hire. They must be offering a non competitive wage. Anyone know what they are hiring at? Online sites claim starting low end pay is $17 per hour.
That is not going to get the hiring going, it is below NCR starting pay past 5-10 years. (Bringing people on over $20 per hr)
Our team had a younger (20ish) employee with the company less then 6 months, quit during their shift, left van with keys, phone, everything in parking lot. Starting working at McDonald's make .50 more an hour the next day.
So yeah there's a problem when it comes to paying people what their worth.
The folks driving the process have no clue what they are doing. The year of planning was more of a frat party than actual work. That’s what you get when you allow the children to manage, FUBAR.
The hard split happens when one of the companies finally sells. The current plan is try make things appear like services are running smooth and customers are happy. As far as contractors go, it’s what management wants, having full time employees is very expensive, paying per call and no benefits to people is attractive . In the end the customer suffers, but the cost savings justifies it to management.
Voyix has been unable to hire adequate resources in the field. They will be sending a lot of tickets to 3rd party vendors to fill in the gaps. Heard Field Nation will be getting a lot more requests in the board.
