Thread regarding Waters Corp. layoffs

My work is being micromanaged to an extreme level

This is not what I expected when I accepted the job six months ago. I understand that being new can warrant some oversight, but being constantly micromanaged is an unnecessary extreme. Will things improve or is this how it usually is here? I need to know because if this doesn't let up, I'm planning to leave.

If you feel previous work experience is not acknowledged it's because those further up the chain have never worked anywhere else.

HR seems none existent here.ive been at a few management meetings too and I think he might have some sort of mental health issue.

After you get hired at Waters, it’s like your prior experience doesn’t exist. They treat the majority of new hires, regardless of experience level, like entry-level employees that need constant micromanagement. I’ve been dealing with the same challenges, but thankfully I’m jumping from this sinking ship this week.
