Thread regarding HP (Hewlett-Packard) layoffs

I'm fed up with the lack of consideration for us regular employees

It's like a game of musical chairs with the C-suite, and we're the ones left standing without a seat. This whole integration mess with Poly/HP has been a nightmare. It feels like they're just shuffling people around without even asking us how we feel about it.

And don't even get me started on these layoffs. It's like they're using "AI" and "innovation" as excuses to cut costs and boost their own pockets. Meanwhile, they're handing out pink slips to folks who've been here for years like it's nothing. It's messed up.

I'm fed up with the lack of consideration for us regular employees. Our morale is in the gutter, and it's no wonder people are unhappy. I just hope they start listening to us before more of us end up in the firing line.

Well said. Source: @ypk+1qZAvdwW

I don't understand all these chats. I am considering Poly, and I perceive HP as a larger, more impersonal company that doesn't listen to people or address their concerns, based on what I've gathered from conversations here. However, I've read superb reviews about in Glassdoor. Who leaves such wonderful reviews? Surveys about HP are always so positive. We were once told that Poly receives more negative reviews/surveys, but when speaking to HP, they seem to be all unhappy. So, why the discrepancy?
They (hp) are paying so little, offering no bonuses or salary increases, and VP mandates demand more work for less pay, especially with the return to the office!

Just be happy that you’re not one of many contractors, the red-headed stepchildren of HP.
