I didn't get a salary increase. Did others get a salary increase? And I got only a 3% bonus increase.
I also didn't get a salary increase two years back. Is this the norm at Optum or is the manager just prejudice towards me?

In my division (Serve) there was a unilateral decision not to give GL30s any raise/merit increase regardless of performance rating. And $0 bonus for MAP rating of 3. I know some of my reports feel like this is an invitation to leave.
probably a mix of both. I got a 1% raise and was basically told to be happy with that in so many words (we had riffs in our dept last year) and that the profit sectors are elsewhere in the company this year so even though Optum and UHC look soooooooo profitable on paper it can’t be spread around to ours. I did get approx a 3% bonus which I saw is consistent with another post on this thread. However I would rather have an annual increase that actually keeps up with inflation.
Investment is going into AI, not workers. The Bezo’s of the world will simply get richer.
Companies that chase the hype train - making bets and cutting cost whether or not those bets are fruitful - will eventually understand the con.
Cloud vendors will learn the business domains as data is continually feed into the platform and they start mysteriously creating AI services to compete.
Unoptimized AI written code will become prevalent in business, cloud costs will skyrocket and coding will become a specialized market.
According to the Nvidia CEO programming should no longer be taught as AI will do the coding going forward.
Long story short … as long as companies continue to feed the hype beast, don’t count on IT paying anywhere where it used to unless you work for a tech company.
You’re lucky. I got 1% raise and 1% RRP this year and apparently I’m “lucky” to have received that.
Curious to see what the CEO, and other execs get this year.
Worst I’ve received outside of none at all.
I think it depends on your grade level and your department. Last year I received a 105% bonus and a 2% raise this year. I received a 95% bonus and a 3% raise. I have no idea how they calculate these things out. But if I was you I'd be looking for a different position, unless you really su-k at your job and don't out any effort forth.
Normal. You will never keep up with the cost of living working there. Sooooo glad I left!
No raises for grade 30 and above; they were hoping people would leave.
It's GREED in a year of record profits. It's just all about their money, NOT your money.
So glad I'm no longer there!
I mean I got 3% bonus. (not increase but total 3% bonus for the year).
Your bonus actually went up? That would be pretty rare this year. On the other hand, complete cr-p merit raises is the norm here.
