One more week???? It has already started. Memos sent a few friends of mine gone. Your obviously not from Enbridge
Not anxious one bit. This seems to be the norm at Enbridge. Announced or unannounced.
Enbridge is a career destroyer anyways so I was already interviewing b4 they announced layoffs
take your severance and gamble on crypto. day trade. be your own boss. f the layoffs.
I agree, it doesn't feel right. Like you, have been through this several times. The deliberate long notice of this one is unnerving. There's no easy way to reduce workforce, but......

I’ve been through this many times over the years so it should be routine, but it doesn’t feel right this time. It’s going to be a looong weekend… and not in a good way.
Let’s get this done already.
Been there, done that. Worked at Enbridge for a little more than a decade and I experienced the high when money was easy but it didn’t last long after which followed by layoffs after layoffs. It didn’t took me long to realize that there’s no long term potential. I did milk those years but I can’t see myself staying at Enbridge way longer that I had to quit not once but twice both as a contractor and employee.
Lucky for me I am one of those who didn’t had a hard time looking for a job somewhere else. It felt like I had to start all over again but it didn’t took long for me to go up the ladder.
I feel the same way that most of you is feeling, for me the anxiety and stress is not worth it. I didn’t regret leaving. I come here once in a while to read and I still have friends working at Enbridge.
Too bad you can’t edit your own posts on here. I wanted to remove the lol from my post about 5 more sleeps. This is definitely not funny. The stress this has caused people is really unhealthy.

Beyond excited! The anxiety is nothing short of exhilarating! It's depressing to think that all this fun comes to an end next week.
