It is best to expedite the closing period until the transition for business reconstruction.

CNBC disclosed the KKR as well.

"Nothing new."

What's new is the cold, hard truth of what comes next for our EUC BU, given the HT decision to abandon a Carbon Black BU spin-off. The legacy UEM and VDI software market is not attractive to private equity - the offering price for the EUC BU is unrealistic.

Every week of a delayed decision of the BU's fate is troubling for our EUC employees.

nobody in EUC got RSUs from Broadcom, so that’s of no consideration.

But they have plenty of existing RSUs on accelerated vests

"I’d recommend mixing this with a heavy dose of the reality"

I agree, the EUC BU's future is uncertain. Banks are unwilling to fund the large PE debt needed to acquire this risky VMW black sheep asset. The recent CB outcome is proof.

Ah good old Pirate Equity, sorry, Private Equity..

Load up on debt, plunder the profits, then asset strip.

Just like CB was a week away from closing between either a vendor or PE buyer. Until it wasn’t. Hopefully you can manifest this into existence but I’d recommend mixing this with a heavy dose of the reality of what’s happening around you and what happened to everything else BC touched.

"EUC is too big to simply snuff out."

However, it's being targeted (along with Citrix) as a target for replacement by Microsoft Intune Suite. It will continue to lose customers as Microsoft gains more market share in the flat (no growth) EUC sector.

For sure, it's going to be a very tough turn-around project for the new PE owner.

This is not news. This is widely known by everyone in EUC.

closing date remains uncertain. The leader is likely to extend the close until Broadcom RSUs vested in June. During hiring on hold, the situation is challenging. They may not feel guilty about customers waiting, but it's unclear if PE has made any commitments to overcome this situation.
