Having a day where I wonder which is worse, working for my reactive chaotic people leader, or being laid off.

I was laid off a few years ago after 15+ years of service. It was devastating, but I took my severance and got another job relatively quickly. Life goes on.
I’m sure this sentiment is echoed by many, so take solace in knowing you’re not alone.
So what’s happening with the board of directors, ELT and directors? The people that steer this company. Hardly seems that this layoff will affect them. Let’s all blame the frontline.
Our VP keeps saying that the company stock will “death spiral” unless we course correct now … I imagine they will cut that dividend in the next few years and that will be the beginning of the end.
