I've been hearing more rumors about layoffs in March. Could this be true?

Just saw some layoffs in Compliance.

This gets speculated on this forum a few times a year. At some point, it will probably come true. Doesn't make you some soothsayer.
One this is for sure. If Paul says they are no plans for layoffs, that means layoffs are 3-6 months away. Remember 2020?
Does anybody know more?
