A third of Walgreens headquarters property in Deerfield to be sold for residential development

One-third of the Walgreens Boots Alliance headquarters in Deerfield is under contract to be sold for about 18 acres of single-family home development.

To allow residential development at 300, 302 and 304 Wilmot Road, the village must approve a rezoning petition to change it from an industrial to general residential district.
Pulte Group, Inc., a residential home construction company based in Atlanta, proposed demolishing the existing structures in the northern third of the corporate campus to develop the site with 42 single-family homes — calling the development “Leclair Estates.”

Will Walgreens be paying for everyone’s flat tires from the nails and construction all over? What great collaboration with construction noise on campus. The higher ups that make these RTO decisions are d-mb

Well, it’s going to be a pain on the a-s on the days we have to be in the office “collaborating” and being one big happy family. Breathing all that nastiness in the air from the demolition all around is being su-ked right into the ventilation system. Second how is that going to work with the walkway bridge? Is that again going to be partially taken down? That doesn’t exactly help the parking situation when large portions of the parking lot would be sectioned off while all that is taking place. Honestly these “leaders” need to go back to math class and realize that they are hemorrhaging cash! All the money being spent to replace computer monitors and chairs that you threw in dumpsters when you had the genius idea to sell the buildings. Oh but wait then you bought it back for 12 million dollars…classic. Then you pi---d everyone off not giving us our merit increases or bonuses but you’ve got all this extra cash laying around to spend on nonsense that will have a negative ROI. Then we have big bad Neil running his mouth that he can find out who posts anonymous questions- so much for employee engagement participation you just sc--wed the pooch on that one. Never did trust those surveys anyways won’t be touching those with a 10 foot pole. Oh Walgreens when will you ever learn…..
