Shell India got pay decreases through reductions of MCA (competitive pay allowances) for their job grades. Some are taking home half of what they were before. Make of that what you will, but it seems our leaders want quiet attrition rather than a big reorganization announcement. Even the LOBs that are currently in reorg are very quiet.

How do you get a pay cut? Do you mean just downgrade in JG?

I assumed this means that a lot of IT jobs in UK, NL and especially the US are going to India this year.

Can someone elaborate? Do Indian employees think Shell pay is much lower than other companies in India? Fwiw, we were told that person going from US to India on LNN would take straight 50+% salary cut.
