Thread regarding Nielsen layoffs

GCCs are because there's too much talent lol

Love how in the new q&a in the newsletter they say that offshoring all of our jobs is because there's so many good talented people overseas and not anything to do with how little it costs to hire them. Nielsen is a healthy company don't you know.

do they think people are d-mb?

Exactly! And it’s clear that they were not seeking to ADD new or better talent (otherwise those opportunities would be offered world-wide), but rather REPLACING the existing talent with ‘talent’ in specific, targeted low-labor-cost locales as represented by GCC’s.

If there is so much talent in all these third world countries, why are they still considered developing nations? Did we develop ourselves out of talent in this country?

Seriously. If its not a financial decision but about global talent pools (cough bs cough) what talents do Mexico, India and Poland have that other markets are missing? And if the company cares about learning and growth as they claim (cough bs cough) why not train the other markets to have this 'talent.'
