absolutely not, after all the attrition the teams are running as lean as possible. Exactly what BC might have wanted. No more layoffs this year I say.

Broadcom doesn’t care about layoff costs. Just needs more time to evaluate your BU progress and your job.
I know individual emails have gone out confirming the package will be honoured for a year but is it anywhere in writing on an official document?
And how many employees will be left I wonder? 500?
Are you kidding? They lost far too many people!
So with BC saying they will keep the severance package for a year in Ireland it's unlikely they will have more layoffs until that "deal" is up!
