First hand dealing with offshore call center in the financial institution. They are trained to bully the customers when you dispute invalid recurring subscriptions charges you never signed up. Then they made you listen to the “disclosures” to capture a recording msg of “ I agreed” for CYA purpose to avoid being caught on “ out of compliance”. Yes folks, this is what our top leaders love - bully the PTs to submission for more revenue streams and deny PT claims. What else is new? Pure greed.

For those still at optum, please flood the anonymous link in solers monthly meeting. Express how you feel about US employees lives being destroyed for a company that made 18 BILLION in PROFIT in one quarter. Yet can't supply pay increases that can't keep up with Inflation. We did all the hard work building up all the IT infastructire only to have it taken over by underskiled cheap labor.

I was one of those who lost our job today. I can speak 1st hand at how bad the help desk is over in the Philippines. They pay those people $400 a month for their salary. They have a lack of oversight and security. I can only imagine how much protected information that is going to be leaked.
