How noble of you to lecture. It is not Collaboration when I am trying to dig myself out of too much workload bcoz you’re not pulling your share coz you spend too much on coffee breaks instead of actually working.
Respect is when you lower your voice while you’re gossiping with someone on your desk while I am trying to hear what the person on the other side of the phone is actually saying.
Integrity is actually working when you say you’re working instead of complaining of workload when in fact you’re just watching movie. Then you bring home some work to get caught up and complain you have no work life balance.
Sure no one has time to monitor what someone else is doing but when the other person gets more of the workload bcoz someone else is just pretending to work then there’s no collaboration.
It’s nice to be poetic but it’s also nice to be realistic. As you say, integrity and respect.
