I can feel it everywhere and every day. Morale is non-existent. We all expect only bad news, piling up on top of an already bad work environment. And what does the leadership come up with? RTO. Any other strategy? Trying to save at least where the company is currently at? Nope.

Has anyone noticed how desperate the higher ups have become for trying to get front end sales up they want a a to print flyers. You know those things that Pessina stopped having printed years ago when he was CEO because it was going to save the company so much money. But when this happened all the older customers who buy the scripts here who used to shop here quit doing it because they don’t use apps on smart phones. This might have worked in urban areas and bigger cities but in rural areas where Wal-Mart was already king you just forced all those customers to stop shopping here. You are not getting those customers back because why shop here when you have to have a card to get the sales on everything in the store and what do you mean I have to have the app to clip the coupons and every time they are in here the cashier is going to ask me if I would like to sign up for a Walgreens credit card. Those people will never come back here and if these clowns actually believe that they are incredibly stupid.
It’s really bad I agree. On the company strategy subject- I thought Mr. Wentworth was supposed to announce the strategy last month at some point? Guess he doesn’t have one, but with the execs that are in the c-suite currently it shouldn’t come as a surprise.
