Who the he-l is in charge?! All these positions that were not so long ago laid off are now being posted to fill. What’s the point in laying off knowledge and talent just to backfill the positions 9 to 12 months later with people off the streets that know nothing about the business? Especially when the positions are being posted with higher salaries. This company is a damn joke.

Dst = dont stay there
Worked there way too long myself. For me it was a great job, with decent money. But then, management changed. After both Tom's were gone that's when sh#t hit the fan. I was NEVER given any proof my performance fell but they gave me the option to quit or be fired. I should have taken the latter. My ego could not take the hit of being fired. I've NEVER even been in trouble at any job in my life.
DST was always a cra* hole - even back in the profitable "glory days."
Is there anyone left there or is it just a big empty building?
This is the same old story. They buy a company, start laying off people to improve the cash flow, and avoid any investments. Move the profit to the clowns at the top. Hope, the employees will get the hint and leave.
They lay-off and rehire to make their budget work. They cannot live without the position she the do a RIF to make the numbers work, then re-hire the position. This is how little they think of their employees. This was one of the most unhappy places I ever worked because of how everybody was treated. I am sure it is worse now.
Anyone still there deserves the shenanigans. I subscribed to that circus for far too long. After my group boss got laid off in 2023 on Valentine’s Day, trying to learn as many of her responsibilities as possible, taking those on while still attempting to support the team as a supervisor… was draining to say the least! Being passed around from division lead to division lead because no one wanted to support the Quality Assurance Team, while also being tasked with shifting 50% of the tasks to India (interviewing, hiring, training them) was the last straw. It was clear the quality of the work and phone calls was no longer a priority, and SSNC is a joke.
Yup. Lay off positions in Client Services, then hiring for that team within about a month. Just under a different level. It’s trash. Seen it multiple times in my division.
