Yes must CHC legacy employees other than Managers and up will NOT receive RRP. I have seen this question now in many threads. The GL 30+ won’t receive merit but will receive a nice bonus usually between 24000-35000 while their teams will get zero RRP and the loophole is “if your product line merged to Optum in 2023.” But don’t freight your managers, directors even on these teams that did not merge will still receive bonus. It’s the most kick in the teeth I have ever seen.

Well their incompetence deserves 0 with this recent attack
what I really want to understand is where we failed so badly as company this year. Our stock is trading at 500 . we met our guidance to the market. Oh by the way all these execs may not get cash but I guarantee there stock awards are worth a lot. Im also quite sure Sir Andrew Witty is receiving huge payouts. My frustration is the lack of honesty from our execs..
Lastly, please know that CHC employees with negotiated bonuses got a lousy bonus last year and an even worse bonus this year. To be bonus eligible in my department you had to accept extra responsibility...those with a bonus were not only responsible for their work but were 100% overseeing other people's work. This means much more stress and longer working hours. The bonus did not come without a personal life sacrifice. My advice, is to talk to your people leader and ask for clear guidance on how all of this will play out...you MUST KNOW YOUR NEGOTIATED BONUS AMOUNT. If you do not, this system, as I current understand it will never work for you. It only seems to work for employees who understand what their bonus should be and trust me, the last 2 years have been VERY DISAPPOINTING.
Ahhhh...this is now making sense. My team was NEVER TOLD that bonus ineligible people would EVER BE ELIGIBLE for a bonus. I had to fight to get my percentage and the only way I got it was to get promoted. Prior to my promotion there was ZERO HOPE I would ever be granted a bonus. If there is hope that bonus ineligible people will be eligible...that is GREAT NEWS, but you need to get the percentage in WRITING. Due to the bonus pool being cut in half this year those of us eligible for bonuses only got half of our NEGOTIATED bonus. You must know what your NEGOTIATED bonus is...if it's not on paper, I do not see how it will Ever happen. Those of you who understand OPTUM better than me, please correct me. Just know I have 27s on my team from CHC with no negotiated bonus and I have heard NOTHING about that EVER CHANGING. What I was told was that CHC employees have a higher base salary and that compensates for the lack of bonus. I think that's an awful answer, but that's what I was told. Whomever is telling you that you will be bonus eligible next year, ask them to see that in writing. I'm so sorry you are going through this frustration and I hope a bonus will come your way.
There is a BIG upset right now because it shouldn’t have mattered if it were in the offer letter as ALL UHG/Optum employees are eligible for RRP if hired before September of the previous year. So once CHC employees merged under Optum in April RRP should have been across the board as states on the RRP program in Sparq.
I am so confused at this point. To those of you who are NOT getting a bonus this year, were you offered a bonus percentage in your CHC (or previous company) offer letter? Did you get a bonus PREVIOUS to the merger? I have not heard that anyone who was NOT eligible for a bonus PREVIOUS to the merger will EVER be eligible for a bonus, unless it is written explicitly in an offer letter.
Post ID: @dat+1raNGI00 Are you a CHC legacy employee and this was speaking to those divisions where an individual contributor is not getting RRP because the product line was not merged in 2023 and the leadership of those divisions are still getting bonuses.
So the comment about RRP being 24,00-35,000 for 30+ and up is just not true. I am a 30 and I work 80+ hours per week and I received no merit increase and a minimal bonus. Almost nothing honestly. My 29's are now making more than me and their RRP was twice as much as mine. And before anyone starts throwing ugliness, I am rated a 4-5 every year and I work my a-s off and suffer from depression and constant migraines because I am constantly stressing and working... At the expense of my family often times... So, get your facts straight before spreading nastiness.
Thank you!! I have been asking my leadership for weeks and the only answer was getting was Optum was denying RRP. Definitely has me thinking it’s time for a change!
Yep looking for something new… done with this company taking advantage of my efforts and time.
