I left SAP three years ago but I've been thinking about all of you a lot these days. I know things are rough right now so I just wanted to take a moment to send my prayers your way.
Try and keep in mind that there's a whole world beyond SAP, and it's a good one. All of you are incredibly valuable and your skills and talents will make you valued assets wherever you go. Things will get better whatever happens.
I agree with this. I was at SAP in Europe for 6 years and left in 2021. I loved my time at SAP but the pay can be bettered by other large American software companies. I got better base, higher bonus %, and about 5x the rsu allocation. Benefits also the same. It was only when I left that I realised that a situation that seemed really good was actually just ok.
Good lord... Of course there are better companies out there. That goes without saying. The problem is actually GETTING THE JOB at the better company.

I know... let's have the "keep your chin up" conversation... many more fish in the sea. Sometimes those fish are the perfect match... sometimes they are axe mu---rers. The he-l you know is always the best of all possible hells.

Left in 2021 after more than 20 years with SAP. I never have looked back one day. SAP was great for a long time; it’s a sh-t show today with the most incompetent leadership in this business. Good luck to you all and I hope you all land well.

there definitely is a world beyond SAP but the reality is this job market is terrible right now. hoping to find another opportunity soon
