Thread regarding Nielsen layoffs

Nielsen's reviews on Glassdoor are tanking

Glad sites like this and Glassdoor exist. Important to see how the culture has shifted which can be seen from the reviews. (No, we're all not crazy here!) Be sure to sort the reviews by most recent. Crazy how fast things have gone downhill. RIP Nielsen.

I'm glad the reviews are tanking. My biggest complaint with the company used to be relatively low pay. Now it's that the company is setting itself on fire. People need to know it's not worth it to work for Nielsen anymore when you'll just be laid off in 6 months.

As much as I hate LinkedIn (to me the “always selling you something like Facebook” but in the professional world, sigh) I only refrain from blasting Nielsen not for saving my puny severance, but for the fact that potential employers are there looking at how you react to things and what you post or comment on.

Nielsen, despite the shortcomings is not worth the risk of losing everything by posting how sc--wed up things are, so I keep it in check on LI.

Fear of losing severance most likely prevents people from being more open on LinkedIn.

Putting them on blast on LinkedIn would be sooo much better though
