Things are a little too quiet lately, anyone have any insight on Optum layoffs that are coming 7/18 yet?
I am in Quality and wonder if will soon be affected
Does anyone have any insight into the Social Work Manager positions and what will happen with them? Will they be eliminated, demoted etc? If anyone has any information at all it would be greatly appreciated 😢🥹.
Yesterday was one of the worst things I have ever experienced in my entire career.
Massive layoffs across Optum -approx 20,000 people today.
Latest is that all SOM positions were eliminated. All HSD positions likewise. Some were offered CSM positions that were eliminated about 5 months ago. Rumor that AMD positions were also eliminated. CC Sups all gone. Just another bloody Thursday in Optum world. Predicting massive exodus of remaining HBMC employees. Optum su-ks.

Did anyone get any updates today or hear anything about the layoffs for tomorrow with Landmark?
SCC will illuminate its Senior CSMs in ISNP/IESNP.
Other redundant and unicorn roles like traveller CSMs will go away.
Landmark and Optum at home will just keep taking hits too.
The providers and nurses need to unionize they are larger than any other organization now of employed providers
CHAs &Engagement Managers at HCC (Landmark) are being eliminated. All outreach will be completed by Central Outreach and their new auto dialer system, which has doubled call volume & scheduling rate by Central Outreach. The CHAs have not been able to show their value and impact patient engagement. Ambassadors are also being eliminated. They have always struggled to make an impact. Look for Landmark to whittle down to 18 markets. There are a lot more cuts to come in September.
Sounds like Optum Senior Community Care/ISNP will experience RIF/Redeployment on 4/18. Likely nurse practitioners and managers.
I heard the same thing. All Navihealth referrals to Landmark were pulled from the CHAs. Speculation is that CHAs will be let go on 4/18.
There was mention of some leadership and CHA positions to be eliminated in home and community.
Once lay off, can they reapply to Optum at later point?
What part of H& C? Sr care? HBMC? Navi?
I know yesterday I could see my teams org chart in teams and today I can't, but can still pull it up in sparq. I am part of OAH/HBMC
