Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

As someone who got impacted last year, I am realizing how well QC compensated. Except for a few top companies and perhaps some startups in cloud/security(who will not take embedded engineers) space, you will not get anywhere close to the total compensation offered by QC(at least in modem).

Most industries don't offer RSUs unless you are director and above. Admittedly, better work life balance because you are getting paid 2/3 the QC pay.

Be careful wishing for a layoff. You might get it to regret it.

The stock is going to go up a lot more… will 3x just off of the demand for AI chips. All these people don’t realize the demand for AI chips. Even if we get 20% of the AI demand will cause of stock to 3x

Yeah dude is completely out of touch, tried to do 1 on 1 with everyone and gave irrelevant comments during meeting. No idea what he does other than making mutton's ball curry. Life is depressing, I need to go, job market is better now.

Curious, do you mean PMIC SYS, PMIC VI, or PMIC PTE?

PMIC is the same dump. Just chugging away until a better gig shows up.

It's quiet because the stock is up. All the bad apples are still here. But everyone has a price, so that makes it ok. Not.

QCA is still terrible. The same people who don't do work still get promoted, the hardworking people still get pushed around and take all the blames. Same old story.
Once I have more interesting stories, I will give an update.

Gotta keep working to send Israel my taxed money so that they continue to blow up babies, duh!
