He wouldn’t provide special treatment to a big, important customer for a fraud loss because he felt that the particular situation should be handled the same way for all customers. Big, Important Customer got mad, complained a few folks above Will’s pay grade in other areas of the bank, and Will was relieved of his job. As much of an a$$ as he was, Will didn’t deserve what happened because a customer thought they were better than an Everyday Joe that had gotten themselves into the same situation.
