Thread regarding Teradata Corp. layoffs

Pleaaase !

Leaving TD wouldn’t just be a relief; it would be a strategic victory. Given my tenure and the generous severance norms in Europe, it translates to a solid financial windfall for me. Frankly, I'm more than ready to shake off the dust and sprint towards new horizons.
The prospect isn’t just appealing; it’s eagerly anticipated. Exciting opportunities are awaiting.
This is more than just a transition; it’s my chance to reclaim the career trajectory TD mishandled and steer it towards something genuinely fulfilling.
So, pleaaase let’s expedite this process. I am crossing fingers. I want my name on top of that list. It’s time to close this chapter, secure that severance, and leap into the future with both eyes open to the opportunities ahead. Enough waiting—let's get this done. It’s time for me to take back control and move on to greener pastures.

I do not know what horizon you are seeing but its a mess in tech hiring. Your TD skills and experience are irrelevant unless you are just plan to take a client list with you to “newco” and convert them to “new db”. Yawn

Yes I did.
I promise you: fired on Monday, back to business on Tuesday.
My only objectivd now : secure a thick severance package before leaving …and then goodbye. good luck.friends.
