Have seen goofs post over and over how the word is out! Nobody wants to work at Truist! As if other bigger banks offer some sort of truly caring atmosphere.
Anyway, I just saw on LI we poached a market president from B of A. The word on the street!

As someone with experience from a “major bank”, you don’t go there looking for a “caring” environment. You go there, get paid to produce, and if you don’t, it won’t last long.
My experience at Truist is different. First and foremost, the competence level. No bank is a perfect meritocracy, but Truist is at the opposite end of the spectrum. BoA generally recognizes talent, and not saying everything is always fair, but it is generally rewarded. At Truist, it seems to me that many managers are almost jealous of talent.
My opinion is Truist represents the absolute worst of both worlds. Merit seems largely based on a “buddy network” (like the worst small banks), combined with a lack of common decency to employees (like the worst mega-banks).
Ok, so a market President left BOA for Truist. So what! They left one dysfunctional bank for another. Had you said a market or regional President left Pinnacle or Huntington for Truist, then you’d have my attention. But nice try though, lol.
I don't think anybody said other big/bigger banks offer a more caring atmosphere. It's that we're more gaslighty about it and are total hypocrits preaching care non-stop. We're losing more talent to smaller banks because they actually do offer a more caring atmosphere (in a lot of cases).
A Market President sounds like a big deal but it's kinda not. We've lost 1000x that in revenue producing talent this past year.
