I am sorry to hear about Dan. Yes, he can be difficult to work, because he drives peole to deliver. I reported up to him and he while he was frustrating at times, I understoodwhy he was the way he was and I learned a lot from him.,
Kicking out Dan Bjerke (who was the clover CEO, before anyone gets report happy) is the best thing I've seen in the past year. I'm not convinced his replacement will be any good, but Dan was a really unpleasant person to work for.
Ultimately clover is still a part of fiserv and under Frank, so I don't expect to see any significant changes, but it's still nice to have a small win.
Condolences, and welcome to Hades.
Those of us who have been around for a while have experienced a steady decline in the reciprocity balance, the guiding principle of this company being “we’ll give you less and less, and you’ll give us more and more”.
For real. In every way imaginable. Despite the fact that you, the unfortunate peon, might think that you’ve hit rock bottom, sure enough it gets even worse - and it literally keeps on getting worse and worse. To the point where the unthinkable becomes reality, time and time again.
A vast number of credible posts on this board attest to this. It may be hard to believe, but it’s true.
Which of course is why so many excellent employees have left of their own accord or are planning to do so, sooner or later.
So, once again, welcome - best of luck - and remember that you are not alone.
The honest truth is that’s what OFD now Fiserv does. They left you alone long enough. Now you will have many changes that make no sense and layoff highly productive people.
