These big changes are supposedly effect 4/15. Aside from being told the name of my new manager and I that I am now an I.C. I have been told no specifics on what my new role and responsibilities will look like. Nobody knows anything when I ask questions and there is no meeting scheduled to provide updates. What a joke of a process for something that has been in the works since November.

Stop complaining and be grateful that you still have a job. If you do not like it, leave it. Spoiled brats. Many people got a very good ride in the past 15y - change managers, IT, etc. without proper education or skills were lucky enough to be hired by companies like Citi when money was cheap. But now things are different, mo--ns.
At least you know who your new manager is, apparently HR messed up (shocking, I know) and I'm still waiting to be told who my new manager is and I'm not the only one who still hasn't been told. So much for it all being completed by 28th of last month...
the way it was communicated to my group it almost seemed like a last minute thing and them scrambling to just reduce headcount to meet requirements without much thought or business needs in mind.
